Oh Merc, how do I love thee…..

The gift of reflection Mercury offers, & a quick update on my refreshed practice, filtered through a deeply astrological lens

So the whole Mercury retrograde scene, the one many folks anticipate with discomfort , anxiety, and sometimes outright fear, around all the disruptions it will bring... Mmmhmmmm, that is one element we might experience when this big boy goes retrograde. That is the dark side of Mercury. The technological glitches, the communication breakdowns. I've seen first hand the chaos and cringe it can bring forth. And yet, there is something else to be discovered, the deep gift found in the retrograde window. If we consider retrogrades as an opportunity to review, much can be gained. Not unlike the veg peels becoming compost to nourish the bloom...

If Mercury has offered me one gift, I would say it is that I've been able to see where I am out of alignment. This can be humbling. Softening and grounding help us receive these reflections as a loving message. I like to think of Merc, the great messenger flying through the cosmos as a loving, if not mischievous character. He'll let ya know when you're off the mark.

As humans, I believe most of us have good intentions. I certainly do. And, we can be slightly out of focus without even knowing it. We make decisions based on what we know at the time, and I deeply believe we are doing the best we can with what we know, and the resource available at the time. And, the only constant is change.

We learn, we grow, our knowing increases. All of which renders our past decisions in need of review, and possibly, updating.

Enter Merc.

Delivering right to your door, the opportunity to see, choose, and shift! (It will be fun, they said, lol)

During this most recent Mercury retrograde, I received much by way of revelation. About my life, my self, my world, my work. & I bet I'm in good company. Much is afoot for many during these wildly alive times.

Like any respectable card carrying Aquarius Sun/Aries moon placement, I acted on it! Thank goodness my Taurus ascendant was down with all the changes! (This lets me know something good, solid, & aligned is developing). During this retrograde window, I was drawn into reflection around the current state of my practice. Allowed myself to enter the cocoon, accepted the liquefaction that inevitably occurs in that realm, and welcomed the metamorphic process and all the elegant gifts it brings.

The offerings of my practice have undergone a beautiful streamlining process, not unlike the transformation of a butterfly going through metamorphosis. There was nothing wrong with that gorgeous little caterpillar, and yet, it was inevitable that it would cocoon, liquify, and re-emerge , wet winged, as a butterfly.

The updated practice, and website that showcases the offerings feels much like a newly released butterfly, alight upon a branch, seeing the light of a new day.

With Mercury stationing direct on July 23, I am celebrating by launching the newly refreshed site. I"m curious as to how this will unfold, and welcome interested folks to flutter on by, and check out the newly refreshed site.
