A Lightning bolt of Love….
Thoughts on Recognition, Resonance, Relational Harmony.
Every once in a while we are seen.... really, truly seen. Deep into the soul seen. Clear as crystal seen. Right down into our cosmic bones seen. When this happens it is like a lightning strike illuminating us, revealing the Soul and humanity of ourselves.
Over time many of us have hidden parts of ourselves away, to survive the culture, society, family or current circumstances we find ourselves in. With little practice being seen, it can leave us feeling exposed, unsettled, possibly frightteneed & wondering about the viewers judgements of us.
The times we are currently in call us to Know Ourselves so that we can Be Ourselves. Developmentally we build an internal model of self through the reflections we received from others (mom, dad, care givers, family, society, etc) in our early years of development. It is through their eyes that we "see" ourselves.
Chances are, this view may be skewed by the others life experiences, thoughts, intentions and such. With no bad intention, simply being unaware of their own state of mind, a truly distorted &/or inaccurate reflection can be delivered. Being seen in a bad or unflattering light, in a way that doesn't. track with who and what we truly are, can leave us jangled, frightened, confused and even scared.
And,
being seen...
It can be literally electrifying. When we are seen through the eyes of Soul (aka the eyes of LOVE) , it is can be both expansive and consolidating, vulnerable and strengthening, intimately connective and liberating. There is something about this Lightining Strike of Love, that feels like a good therapeutic connection... Brilliant light, yes, also the softness of surrounding sky and clouds. The briefest of flickering, unforgetabble in what it illunimates. A wild beauty is to be had here.
When we receive clear, clean, accurate reflections something alchmeical happens. The vital lifeforce in our systems will flash in recognition, buzz with resonance, humm with realtional harmony. There is little more that our Being wants, than for our Soul to be aligned with our Personhood. When they track together, magic happens.
Recently, whilst in the care of a skillful practitioner, I experienced a Lightnining bolt of Love illunimating my consciousness and was able to see more of myself, as I truly am. Such a precious gift! Sometimes folks reflect in service of molding or shaping others... from my perspective, the higher octave of this good intention is to reflect you back to you, so that you can actually BE YOU.
Gosh, talk about magic! Bless us all, you are the only one who carries what you do, and can offer what you will. Literally one of a kind. Needed as you are. When we are anchored in clear, grounded self awareness, we can make available the wholesome, beautiful, and unique gifts we carry.
When we see ourselves clearly, we can see others with increasing clarity. This beautiful dynamic cultivates recognition of self, resonance with authenticity, and relational harmony, all vital to our wellbeing.
I was reminded that this is one of the things I deeply love to offer.. The poet Hafiz might call this a "full moon in both eyes", seeing with so much Love. It is a magnificent honour to hold up a metaphorical mirror, reflecting You back to You, so that you can see yourself for who you truly are.
There is a new offering coming available through my practice, one that I am deeply excited about. Centered around seeing, and being seen, clarity, groundedness, accuracy and freedom. I'll post soon about this, making all the details available.
