River of Remembrance

What is the River of Remembrance ?

River of Remembrance is fieldwork offered through gentle touch.

While the body often benefits, this is not bodywork in the conventional sense. There is no manipulation, correction, or diagnostic process.

Together, we attune to the subtle rhythms moving through the cerebrospinal fluid , listening rather than intervening.

This work rests on a simple understanding:

Nothing is “wrong” with you.

There are moments of coherence, and moments when systems fall temporarily out of alignment. Through quiet, intentional contact, space is created for the nervous system to soften and reorganize in its own time.

Within this settling, many experience a renewed sense of clarity, regulation, and return.

What are we listening for?

Sessions orient toward the body’s the body’s inherent capacity to organize and restore balance — the subtle signals associated with regulation, and internal coherence.

This is not about striving toward a heightened state, but allowing the system to reconnect with its own natural rhythm.

The process is often experienced as:

subtle
nuanced
deeply restorative

As settling occurs, shifts may arise organically , often sensed as changes in breath, ease, or a growing sense of internal quiet.

This may be for you if….

  • You are drawn to a gentle, non-directive approach

  • Your system feels scattered, tense, or overstimulated

  • Subtle, field-based work resonates with you

  • You sense your body or inner rhythm seeking steadiness

  • Presence and depth matter more to you than intensity

No prior experience is necessary.

Session Structure

Sessions take place fully clothed on a treatment table. Gentle contact is made along the spine, with minimal conversation and ample space for inward attention.

Because regulation and integration tend to deepen through rhythm, this work is best experienced across multiple sessions.

New clients begin with a single introductory session. From there, many choose to continue with a set of six sessions, scheduled daily, weekly, or monthly depending on preference and availability.

The introductory session fee may be applied toward a set.

A gentle note

Experiences vary.

Some sessions feel deeply noticeable, while others bring a quieter sense of settling that becomes clearer over time.

Both are natural responses to this work.
